Elastic Waist Beads:

2. Avoid Over-Stretching/Snagging: Avoid pulling or stretching the elastic strands excessively, as this can weaken the elasticity over time. Be cautious when wearing elastic waist beads to avoid catching them on sharp objects or surfaces (kind of like when a belt loop snags the door handle), as this can cause the elastic to break.
3. Storage: Store your elastic waist beads in a dry, cool place away from direct sunlight to prevent fading and maintain their elasticity.
4. Be Mindful When Dressing: Take care when getting dressed or undressed to avoid accidentally pulling off your waist beads, especially when in a hurry or wearing clothing with tight waistbands.
5. Avoid Chemicals: Keep your elastic waist beads away from harsh chemicals such as perfume, hairspray, and lotion, as these substances can cause damage or discoloration.
6. Inspect Regularly: Periodically check the condition of your elastic waist beads for signs of wear or damage. If you notice any fraying or stretching, it may be time to replace them.

Threaded Waist Beads:

1. Handle with Care: Although threaded waist beads are extremely durable by nature you must tie them with care! When tying on your threaded waist beads, be mindful of the knots you use. Opt for sturdy knots that are less likely to come undone over time. Please refer to my instructional videos on how to tie your waist bead on the home page.
2. Avoid Excessive Tugging: Refrain from pulling or tugging on the threaded waist beads excessively, as this can weaken the knots and cause them to come undone. Waist Beads are not a harness.
3. Cleaning: If your threaded waist beads get dirty, gently spot clean them using a soft, damp cloth. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners, as these can damage the threads. Normally your waist beads would get clean at the same time as you wash your body by lightly scrubbing them.

18K Gold & Silver Plated Jewelry:

1. Water Resistant: To maintain the luster of your gold or silver plated jewelry, avoid prolonged exposure to water and moisture. Remove them before swimming or bathing to prolong their lifespan.
2. Avoid Chemicals: Keep your plated jewelry away from harsh chemicals such as perfume, lotion, and cleaning products, as these can cause the plating to tarnish or wear off over time.
3. Regular Cleaning: To clean your gold or silver jewelry, gently wipe them with a soft, dry cloth after each wear to remove any oils or residue. Avoid using abrasive cleaners or polishing compounds, as these can scratch the surface of the plating.
4. Storage: Store your plated in it's original packaging or in a clean, dry place away from direct sunlight to prevent tarnishing and maintain their shine.
5. Avoid Impact: While stainless steel is durable, avoid subjecting your waist beads to rough handling or impact, as this can cause scratches or damage to the plating.

Disclaimer: Each belly chain has an extender chain of 4.5 inches added to it. For example if you choose a size medium chain it will be 32 inches + 4 inches of extender. In total the chain will be 36inches long.
